The identification of the quality of spiral protective sleeve mainly has the following reference standards
1. The outer surface of the spiral protective sleeve is smooth and flat without shortage of materials, cracks, damage and burrs: no obvious foaming and unevenness; If there is no impurity, motley color and other phenomena, it is of high quality. On the contrary, it is inferior and unqualified.
2. The spiral protective sleeve with qualified hardness is generally Shore 85-90HD, lower than 85HD or higher than 90HD does not meet the requirements. If the hardness is too low, it can not protect and bind the internal products; if the hardness is too high, when used in low temperature environment (such as northeast China and other cold areas), the protective sleeve is prone to brittle fracture.
3. The spiral protective sleeve should have good high and low temperature resistance. Users can identify it according to the following methods: place the spiral protective sleeve in 80 ℃ environment for 1 hour, 0.5 hours -40 ℃ environment at room temperature environment for 1 hour, and 0.5 hours at room temperature environment for 5 consecutive cycles of observation. If the spiral protective sleeve has no cracking, sticking, depression and other phenomena, it is of high quality. On the contrary, if the spiral protective sleeve has one of the phenomena such as cracking, deformation, sticking or depression, the protective sleeve is inferior and unqualified.
4. The spiral protective sleeve should have good oil resistance. The spiral protective sleeve can be soaked in a mixture of 70# gasoline and 10% toluene for 5 minutes. If there is no discoloration and stickiness, it is of high quality and qualified. On the contrary, if there is discoloration and stickiness, the protective sleeve is inferior and unqualified.
5. The spiral protective sleeve should have good wear resistance. If the quality difference is less than 0.07, it is of high quality. On the contrary, if the quality difference is greater than 0.07, the spiral protective sleeve is of inferior quality and unqualified.
6. tensile strength impact strength
Spiral protective sleeve should have good tensile strength and impact strength, tensile strength at room temperature is generally 25 ~ 30Mpa; impact strength (notch) at room temperature is 35KJ/m2,-40 ℃/24h is 5KJ/m2The impact strength (no notch) is constant.
7. Anti-ultraviolet
The spiral protective sleeve should have good anti-ultraviolet performance. A certain proportion of carbon black is added to the production of the black spiral protective sleeve to enhance the anti-ultraviolet performance of the spiral protective sleeve. This is also the reason why the black spiral protective sleeve has better UV resistance than other color protective sleeves.
8. Antistatic
The spiral protective sleeve is mainly used for construction machinery and injection molding machine equipment such as excavators, loaders, road rollers, pavers, trucks, cranes, pumping machinery, cables, etc. When working in underground and dry environment, spiral protective sleeve with strong antistatic property should be selected.
