MC nylon pulley compared with metal pulley superiority
1) Wear of metal pulley and steel cable
For many years, manufacturers and users of heavy lifting equipment have been looking for new ways to increase the service life of steel cables and reduce the wear on the mounting pulleys. Early solutions included coating metal pulleys with elastomeric materials and mounting rims of such materials on metal hubs.
2) Weight and corrosion properties of metals

MC nylon is a high-light cast nylon containing molybdenum disulfide (Mos2) ultrafine powder to improve its lubricity. Its extraordinary strength supports the load of the bearing substantially higher than other engineering thermoplastics. Due to its inherent elasticity, non-polarity and extremely fast working stress release capacity, it will not be permanently deformed. MC nylon wear-resistant, not only to reduce the total weight of the equipment, but also to protect the matching metal surface.
